Hello, ladies and gentlemen. I hope you’re having a great day, and even though it’s still a few days early at the time of this recording, I would like to use this opportunity to wish all of you who celebrate, and your families, a Merry Christmas.
I must say, I am pretty psyched to introduce this episode to you. My guest, Dr Brad Dieter is one of the most intelligent and knowledgeable people I’ve ever had the honor to interact with, and even though his schedule is always full, he was more than generous to come over and have an hour-long conversation with me on the topic of high-fat, low-carb, ketogenic diets, and its effects on obesity.
Dr Dieter thoroughly researched this topic, so I was more than excited to ask questions that I thought would lead to a productive and informative discussion. Besides many subjects of the ketogenic diet in relationships to obesity, we also touched upon its theoretical application in the treatment of cancer and diabetes, exogenous ketone supplements, busting some myths, and we even ventured on a couple of occasions into philosophical territory.
I had a lot of fun talking with Dr Brad, and I cannot wait to have him come back soon in the near future.
