Hello, ladies and gents! I hope you’re having a tremendous day. Because I don’t. I saw the premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and I am… I am crushed. It was devastatingly disappointing. If you, by any chance, have seen the film, and you enjoyed it – please contact me. Please do so, so I can have a talk with you. But be aware, I am going to talk to you in a stern, fatherly manner. Like you’re a child who made a mess in a living room, and I’m trying to explain why it’s crucial that you clean after you do so, and why you cannot just leave all of your Death Star Legos simply laying on the floor.
Soooo, enough about Star Wars. But if I could make any segue into this episode, it would be something in the context of learning the basics and understanding the fundamentals.
Which is exactly the topic of today, that I’ve discussed with my guest, Emma Storey-Gordon.
She isn’t only one of my favourite people in the fitness industry, but also someone who knows what she’s talking about and what she’s doing. Unlike the people from Disney who made the new Star Wars.
See, I made the full circle now, and everything makes sense. Unlike the new Star… Sorry. I’m done.
We talked about topics related to the start of dieting: how to approach it with a healthy mindset and without stress, how to structure your meals, how to prepare for plateaus, how to track your progress, and more.
I want to apologise in advance for the not-so-great sound quality of the interview you’re about to listen. I had some technical difficulties which stemmed from a lousy wi-fi connection. So if you notice abrupt cuts, that’s because I wanted to spare your ears being damaged by a sound which resembled the noise made by 56k modems back in the day.
I hope you’ll enjoy this episode as much as I did having a conversation with Emma, who’s going to be a regular guest on this podcast from now on. Next time you hear from two of us together, will be discussing Type-2 diabetes and it’s relationship with the obesity.
Thank you, and I’ll talk to you next week.
